Compositional Trick #4 Simplicity

Creating simplicity in a photo helps strengthen the composition by eleminating all unneeded items in the bacground that make the photograph look messy. By not eliminating the chaotic surroundings, the viewer doesn't know where to look or what the photographer is trying to get them to focus on. Many people believe that creating simplcity in a photo makes the picture boring but in reality it makes your emphasis pop out becuase it is not being disturbed by anything. Simplicity is an effective trick if you use it to your advantage and if it makes your photograph look good.
In my first photograph, I created simplicity by using macro. On the second, I eliminated all the unwanted things in the background.
